Keeping in line with celebrating diversity, the CBOs celebrated the festival of Dahi Handi. By the end of the month, they also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by putting up a ganpati in a brothel area. The BMC during the Ganesh festival, allotted a stall to NGO to sell their wares. TSVK and VSMM jointly held a stall to sell hair clips, snacks, chocolates, agarbattis and perfumes. All of which resulted in fund raising and promotion of harmonious living.
