Seema Sayyed


Seema holds a degree in Mass Communication from Mumbai University. She has been associated with the Aastha Project since 2004 across different levels and positions. Seema assumed the role of manager when Aastha Parivaar was formed as an NGO in 2009.

Neelam Patil

Accounts Officer

Neelam holds a Degree in Commerce from University of Mumbai. She joined Aastha Parivaar in 2010, after previously working with CORO for Literacy; an initiative under the Aastha project.

Riji Nair

Programme Manager; FHI 360- LINKAGES Project

Riji Nair holds a degree in Social Work from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work, Mumbai and a diploma in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS, Mumbai. Riji has worked in the development sector for over 10 years, specialising in the areas of health; education; and water sanitation.


Aarif Shaikh

Technical Coordinator; FHI 360- LINKAGES Project

Aarif graduated from Mumbai University with a degree in History & Geography. He then pursued an MSW-Part -II from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

He has been with Aastha Parivaar since 2017 working as Technical Coordinator in the FHI-360 Linkages Project.


Manohar Dongare

Accountant; FHI 360- LINKAGES Project

Manohar holds a degree in commerce from Mumbai University and a diploma in computer programming from Ruia College, Mumbai. Manohar has over 20 years experience in NGO accounting, especially audits, account finalization & NGO accountancy training.

Sameer Adavade

Office Assistant

After completing his 9th standard, Sameer started working as an office assistant for a chartered accountant. He joined Aastha Parivaar in 2012 and has since helped organize many meetings and events, ensuring that the work behind the scenes goes smoothly.

Sameer is a keen photographer and is seen capturing our events through his lens. His responsibilities also include welcoming our visitors and making them feel at home.
